This belicosa cigar was nicely constructed, but the wrapper appeared a little dry as evidenced by cracking. The draw was tight but overall an easy smoke. A compact white ash was produced and the flavor was peppery but very easy on the palette. Clouds of smoke rose overhead without a lingering smell once the cigar was finished. Other than the wrapper cracking and a little canoeing, this was a very pleasant, relaxing smoke that didn’t leaving an aftertaste. This is definitely one to try again.

At 1st appearance the wrapper seemed very dry but as I lit it the draw was just fine. The burn was uneven at the start but evened out and did not have to relight it until about the 2” mark. The aroma was pleasant but unremarkable with a mild spice kick. This was not a full but mild smooth smoke but worth smoking if in the $5 range. Drink of choice was the Pyrat Pistol Rum.

This Dominican belicoso had a lovely firm Honduran wrapper, slight oily appearance with a light aroma. Its initial draw was a little dry, but moved to smooth and easy very quickly with a solid white ash. A wonderful aroma of fragrant leather with a medium, slightly spiced flavor. A pleasure to smoke.
